A German Fashion Twist

So I've been totally gaga these days for Chicwish and I'm about to surrender over all my paychecks over to them. I'M SERIOUS GUYS, I'm addicted! There's just something about these amazing prints, paired with how damn comfortable they are that makes me want more. It's the perfect combination of fun and chic, and I really can't get enough.
So I wrote about another skirt from Chicwish last week and I am just even more thrilled about this beauty. Unlike the Musical Note skirt complaint regarding the lining, the lining on this skirt is a completely different story. This lining has more of a silk feel to it, and it doesn't make as much noise when prancing around in it (which I totally did, and is evident in some of my photos).

How amazing are these bright and bold colors too? The possibilities are endless when it comes to styling this amazing work of art. Did you know that this is an actual castle that exists in Germany? And it's called Neuschwanstein Castle, which I contemplated making this blog title! If you have a chance to google it, you should - it's beautiful!

One of my favorite parts too about going home is that I get to shoot some of these photos in my parents beautiful backyard. Granted, it's not as up to par as it once was, as my dad spends the summer alone there while my mom stays at our vacation house (rough life, huh?), but the flowers still bloom, and the bushes stay trimmed and I can't help but smile when I see how well this lily compliments my skirt.

(Enough selfies already Amanda, we get it..)

(Not my best twirling photo, but I tried!)

There comes a time in the day when you feel like you've tortured yourself enough in the hot sun where you just stop caring/paying attention to the fact that your hair has finally taken on a life of it's own. Messy hair, don't care!

  8. That skirt is incredible!! I love, love, love it! Neuschwanstein Castle has been on my bucket list for a while, now! ...Someday. :) And Chicwish is definitely one of the stores I will be buying from next! I've honestly never bought anything from them, but I have a list of skirts I want now that's about a mile long. Haha.

    1. My best advice would be to start with something that isn't too flashy, test your comfort level and take it from there. You never know if you don't try, but I can't imagine anything would look bad on you, pretty lady!
