Wild Irish Rose

So there is nothing in this world (fashionably speaking) that I love as much as a good deal. And I'm SUCH a bargain shopper too. I am a firm believer that you can be stylish without breaking the bank. Don't get me wrong, there are some amazzzinggglyyyy gorgeous and expensive clothes that I drool over, but it's not like we can take any of those things with us when we leave the world. So, instead, I will wait patiently for a good sale, or find something similar that I adore just as much and spend my money on making memories.

This skirt for example- I found it on sale for $5 at Mandees. Yes, you read that right - $5. This is mostly a NY-NJ-PA based store, but if you live near one, it's worth checking out (it's similar a lower quality Forever 21, if that makes sense). My local store is currently having a sale where everything in the entire store is less than $10, and I have no complaints about that. Don't get me wrong here though, you get what you pay for. I have things I've purchased from them in the past where the quality clearly deteriorates over time, but for $5.. why the heck not?

Outfit Details:
Hat and Necklace: David & Young via. Groovy Girlz
Skirt: Streetwear Society via. Mandee
Shoes: Tahari via. Lord & Taylor
Hair Flower: My vacation shore town had a big tent sale last month, and I got this cute flower hair clip for $4. Not sure who makes it. Her business card is at my apartment back in Philly and I am away for the weekend.

Thanks for stopping by! My posting schedule will be a bit wonky this month, and my social media will be limited as well because unlucky me is taking a Chemistry class and it is kicking my ass. Ugh.

Only two more weeks to go though and I'll at least have some more free time to start posting. Hope you all have a wonderful week though!

And as always, feel free to follow me on any of these other social platforms..

  3. $5??? Can't go wrong there! I agree with you when you say you can't take the clothes with you when you go but you also can't take your money!! Haha all kidding aside, I love a good deal too but will splurge from time to time. In my mind, this time in my life is for ME and I want to wear all the pretty dresses now before I settle down, have a baby or two, and no longer either fit in my dresses or have the time or focus to do it. So I am just enjoying it while I can! =)

  8. This is such a cute outfit! I am going to have to be on the look out for a Mandees! I've recently taken a liking to Shein for the same reason - cute clothes for not a lot of money. :) And oh my! Good luck with your chemistry class! :)
