Outfit Post: Mustard Pants

So happy early birthday to me, yay! My boyfriend surprised me this this bad boy last weekend (I think he got tired of taking outfit picture for me) and I finally had a free chance to play around with it today!

Back home for the week, this was taken in my parents backyard

As you can see, I have been trying to work out the kinks, that's why I appear blurry!

That's about it, I was just so excited to use my new camera that I thought I would share some of my photos with you!

  1. Yay what a great boyfriend! When is your birthday? My husband gave me my birthday gift early too, and it was a PS Vita... I was SO happy! :P Your camera looks awesome, I have a DSLR and I still don't know how to use it lol! I have a tripod and it's great... my husband isn't the best at taking photos :P

    1. October 26th! And yay! I can only imagine how excited you were, that's awesome! I'm going to have to do some googling on how to use the camera though, last night the sky was so cool with the moon over the golf course and a bunch of low clouds, I tried taking a picture but I had no idea what I was doing. I guess that's what youtube is for! :)

    1. Aww, thank you Daisy! I was excited to wear the scarf as well, as it's small and fits perfectly around my neck! And definitely the most suiting blog gift! I may have a potentially sprained ankle, so I'll be resting up a lot these next few days and am hoping to figure out how to do more than just the basic "point and click" :)

  9. OMG is that a wall in your parents' home? How AWESOME!!! It's like having your very own personal backdrop - featuring chipmunks! Haha those are adorable boots, as well! =)

    1. It is in my parents house! I was one of those kids who grew up in a household that didn't believe in having white walls (or ceilings for that matter as much of ours are painted too). My mom is a pretty talented painter, so this is painted outside our dining room. (elsewhere along the wall are a giraffe, some butterflies, bumble bees, an owl, a duck, and some other plants/small creatures.) I'll have to snap some photos while I'm here for sure!

  10. Ohhh, congrats on your awesome new camera! I have a Rebel T3I and am still trying to learn all about it. This morning I was just thinking about checking to see if there are any photography classes around. Meanwhile YouTube helps. :)
