Outfit Post: String Light Celebration Skirt

So if you've been following this blog, you'll probably notice a reoccurring theme this whole summer, in that a lot of my photos are taken at Wineries. I'm not by any means an alcoholic. I barely drink maybe one night a week, many times not at all. But my parents own a beach house and in the area are a whole handful of wineries. So we of course, being italian, go there from time to time.
Anyways, as this may have been the last warm weekend before the fall weather officially kicks in, I wanted to make sure I wore this amazing Modcloth skirt (seriously, it's so flippin' soft, I'm in love). I was originally wearing a pair of wedges, but being that this isn't a terrible fancy place, I did not want to be too overdressed, so I traded them in for a pair of flip flops to get a more casual look.

Here I am with my daddy. I'm not embarassed to admit that I am such a daddies girl. But my dad is seriously the best dad ever. (Ma, in case you're reading this, you're not so bad either!)
Caught my mom by accident in this while she was in the middle of chewing (sorry!!xo). She makes an amazing spread for our trips to the winery. Here she made butternut squash risotto (in the big pot), blue cheese, crackers and honey, and ham and cheese puff pastry mini sandwiches. I was too excited to eat everything (except the ham, I took that out) that this was the only photo of the table. Trust me when I say it was delicious!

Hope you all have an amazing week! Thanks for reading! Follow on Instagram if you want to see more photos (@Amandaplease).

  1. I remember seeing this post on Instagram! I love your skirt so much. I'm a sucker for floral prints especially when they're so colorful. And, that table looks delicious! I love any excuse to get the family together, and it usually involves food ;).
