Tilly: Their Flannel-icious Looks
From long boarding and dirt biking to learning how to two-step at a country festival, flannel has been the go-to shirt for outside events like these. Lately, they have been making huge appearances around campuses, malls, and on those chilly fall/winter days. It's easy to say flannel is a universal shirt that can be worn year round. They come in so many colors, whether they be solid, striped, ombre, or plaid! The new trend is to tie plaid flannel around your waist. You can tie it over a cute summer dress, as I did in the picture on the top right, or wear it unbuttoned over a tank and shorts or leggings. I have even seen flannel dresses! Flannel can even be that added accessory to your outfit! However you wear your flannel, have fun playing around with all the different patterns, colors, and lengths.

This is basically the only piece of flannel I currently own in my closet, but I am absolutely in love with it. While it is a little hot to be wearing it in Arizona, I love the layering it with a different outfit. It’s trendy, cute and comfortable all at once. This is definitely one of things you can wear thousands of ways.
I also styled for a different season. The weather in Pennsylvania while I was there during the summer was a little too cold for me so I threw on a pair of skinny jeans, a white tank, a flannel top and a necklace! Voila – you have the perfect fall outfit.
